Obviously, quite a lot.
But Snead deserves a ton of credit for drafting Avila, too. ‘Course, coach Wendy polished him up quickly, so there is that.
The Jackson at LOT is looking brilliant.
Avila at LG was a no brainer.
Shelton at C is looking brilliant.
I gotta admit that Boom at RG is looking very smart right now.
Hav, of course, was a no brainer at RT, but now Rams have good depth there, too.
The ascension of this 2023 OL is the single biggest reason for the overall improvement of this Rams O. It’s been a positive night and day upgrade over last year. Heck, this OL is better than the 2021 version that won a SB, don’t you think?
Don't leave Munchak out of the equation.
Yes, I agree that coaching has been key. Avila has obviously been a huge upgrade, and this isn't the same pre-injury line up we had last year. But we're getting it done with an undrafted LT, and nobodies at C and RG (I don't expect Boom to make it to the half next week). Wendy and Munch are putting on a master class. Let's see how the rest of the season goes, but like you state, as long as the line holds, this O will score points. Couldn't be happier watching these vids.
