Sean is a talker and a very honest guy that does play coy with the press but not with his players and coaches, he is considered trustworthy. He traded Cam to Kevin O'Connell (KOC), his former asst. who knows both Cam and Sean. They weren't going to rip each other off and considering McVay's coaching tree across the league, I think his candor, when asked behind closed doors, was sincere.

I have little doubt that the Rams got the best deal they could considering the factors involved and truly wish Cam Akers the best with the Vikings or wherever he goes.
