Truly a sad story, 1971....

September 21, 2023 03:15PM
My Dad did get to see '99, and victory in '00.... before his passing. But he wasn't ever a football fan. Auto racing and boxing were the only sports he liked.... he never understood football, doubt he could name a single NFL pro player..... BUT.... he lived the games vicariously, thru me.

When we beat the Titans he knew the SB was a big deal, although he wasn't sure why. laughing smiley But no one celebrated with me more. - JamesJM

My hard luck tale of the Mud Bowl tops you all...

JamesJM29September 21, 2023 03:09PM

Before the Ram/Viking mudbowl there was another equally signigicant mud bowl at the Coliseum.
