He is definitely not quite as good as Marshall was, because Faulk was "our era's" Jim Brown. And he is more injury prone than you would like. But McCaffrey can literally take a game away from you in one or two drives like Faulk used to do to teams for several seasons in a row. You are right he is dangerous.
And if you aren't worried about Purdy I have some homework you.
Jump on YouTube and pull up videos of him last year and play them at half or slower speed. Watch his feet and his helmet. And then remember he started in six regular season games and the three post season games.
He's very, very likely to be a problem for many years.
I hate the 49ers and their QB luck.
