IMO, there will be peaks and valleys all year with this defense

But Morris and his staff sure look like they are off to good start.

I don't expect to see a shutdown defense against the whiners. It would be unfair to expect that every week IMO.

I think this week will be a bad barometer for judging our defense. Shanny knows how to play us just we do against Sheattle.

I expect to see a step backwards this week but I do see us continuing to improve all year.

We should judge each game individually based on the opponent. I have a feeling Morris, Lake and Pleasant have a plan and it is to be more aggressive than last year and I like what I see so far.

Now, if we go back to being running a prevent style defense 95% of the time again, I might change my mind. lol

Having said that, I don' think that will happen. I think the whole team has "Grown Some Friggin B@lls" just like McVay wanted and I think that will make a lot of happy!
