I, like a lot of folks were down on Tutu for his first couple of years.
Even after his long TD against the Saints last year, I was thinking, ok, but he'll likely be a one trick pony on deep balls.
What I saw yesterday has me rethinking that altogether.
His willingness to go over the middle on intermediate routes and his ability to catch the ball in traffic and while getting hit really impressed me.
Hopefully he can hold up physically because his mental game and drive to run all the routes is there.
Kudos to Tutu.
I was a huge fan of the Tutu selection even though I preferred center Creed Humphrey over him like 95% of us fans did.
I thought Tutu would be the Rams rookie of the year when he was drafted.
I bombed out on my Tutu rookie prediction. Ramsdude pointed it out when I made my case. I was wrong. Tutu needed 2 seasons to be what I projected.
It's only been one game in is 3rd season, but he looked like I guessed he would be in his rookie season and I'm excited to what he does in the coming weeks.
Creed Humphrey vs Tutu will always be a hot topic on this board.
If Tutu goes off for most of this season, I won't care about the Humphrey debacle anymore.
