Rampage2K-
all the dude does is make catches....and that's all you can ask for sometimes.
He was underutilized and underused in those first couple years.
We started to see glimpses last year when Baker got here and yesterday we saw what he can be...a dependable target who can get open and make tough catches over the middle.
Love to see him finally get his chance to
Size be dammed, he is gonna make that catch and take a hit....gotta give him credit.
He wasn't exactly making people take notice with his play that first year. In fact, he looked pretty bad. Dare I say he looked like a major bust when we could have had an All Pro Center instead.
So, IMO, he deserved all the criticism he got early on.
Having said that, just like with Morris, you have to give credit when it's due and Tutu has obviously worked very hard to improve and McVay is now using him better too.
I am happy for Tutu! May his contributions continue to be BIG ones!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
