I, like a lot of folks were down on Tutu for his first couple of years.
Even after his long TD against the Saints last year, I was thinking, ok, but he'll likely be a one trick pony on deep balls.
What I saw yesterday has me rethinking that altogether.
His willingness to go over the middle on intermediate routes and his ability to catch the ball in traffic and while getting hit really impressed me.
Hopefully he can hold up physically because his mental game and drive to run all the routes is there.
Kudos to Tutu.
And I was one who doubted Tutu as well but I have to wonder if McVay could have done a better job at getting Tutu involved in the game plan sooner.
It seemed like McVay forgot Tutu was even on the team there for a while! lol
I am happy to see the kid do well and grow right before our eyes.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
