Listen - I always think about my Rams in terms of them being the best. I don’t want the Rams to be a disaster. They traded for Stafford this is who they should be building a team around. However, if the season goes south they would be fools not to draft him in that market. He would instantly elevate the Rams brand and profile. All of those USC fans instantly become Ram fans. All those youth and minorities in LA that cling to the Raiders brand and image (despite decades of losing) all of the sudden are rooting for the Rams.
Caleb Williams is a generational player. If McVay is a generational coach (I have my doubts about that but many of you believe it) and you put Williams with McVay you should have your Reid/Mahomes west coast version.
I want to see my Rams succeed in that market … drafting that QB would be the shot in the arm and building block they desperately need
