Stafford had a full preseason with a fully reinvigorated arm to develop rapport, a sense of anticipation, timing, i.e. all that elusive stuff we lump together and call chemistry with his receiving corps. Last year there was only Kupp and a little leftover from time his rookie year with Van.
Moreover, we saw clips this summer of Stafford working with the receivers, helping especially
to develop the young new-to-the-team receivers. He'll be fine and they'll be as fine as they can be. Stafford will elevate their performance. Watch and you'll see.
This is the factor the writers, including this one, ignore.
Stafford
is ready. His talent, leadership, and experience are there and being felt.
We'll surprise people (including some of us on this board) with our passing game this year and we'll see some of it against a strong Seattle secondary in just a few days.
