Agreed. It's all interconnected. And I do certainly believe in the AD effect. I also think Young and Turner in particular will show improvement as the season progresses.
The best thing the Rams can do to help aid their run defense is improve TOP/3rd down conversions and score points. Maybe they will also have to cheat up guys from safety etc. more than they like and, as a result, put CB more on an island. But while removing Ramsey is obviously a negative I do think their CB room overall (1 through 5) is better than a year ago. Tomlinson is exactly the type of CB they needed to add. Witherspoon is steady and I think Durant is going to show a solid year 2 leap forward.
