Simply because there's a chance we could take Seattle out of their gameplan (Pete is drooling right now in anticipation of running the ball on our defensive front) by putting up some points on them early and often. But without Kupp... Feels like maybe we'll give them a game but chances of winning are not nearly as good for us. Our offense is usually not the same without Kupp.
There is one difference this year though, that being Nacua. Who was drafted I think for precisely this situation. But is he ready and is Van ready as well. We need guys to step up all over on offense and hopefully they will do that. Van in particular needs to be clutch though I'd think because he's the vet and guys should be looking to him.
