Jaxon Smith Njiba was injuried in preseason game(another reason not to play anyone in preseason) looks like he will miss week 1 with wrist injury
How many players out of all the players that actually play during Preseason get hurt?
If all 32 teams play a minimum of 22 players in a preseason game, that's 704 players in week of preseason games.
So how many injuries are there each week of the preseason? 10? 20? 30 on a real bad week?
That looks to me like the odds are pretty low on someone getting hurt during a game, IMO.
I see some advantages to playing some starters a series or two. Since it would only be a series or two, those "odds" of getting hurt are even lower.
I am not a fan of playing "scared" and that's what this comes down to IMO. Teams are "afraid" of getting someone hurt no matter how small the odds are.
They say "scrimmages" are safer but guess what? Players get injured in "scrimmages" too. At what point will teams be too scared to even "scrimmage" before the season???
It's just a matter of time. lol
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
