Given Higbee's history of missing time with recurrent injuries, I hope they keep Allen on the 53 so he can continue to develop, suit up for games, travel and at least get a few snaps per game.

Assuming that he continues to reach toward a yet-unpredictable ceiling he will be needed sooner or later. With his brawn he might prove to be a good closer in tight games this season.
