Just as a footnote (as the article says), those are stats from only 10 games.
It is great to hear that Donald's fire is burning hot, maybe even scorching.
It may be only 10 games but that still would average out to a "down year" for AD, IMO.
It's an undeniable fact that the Prevent Defense that Morris is afraid to divert from is not pass rush friendly.
It's also undeniable that QB's are able to get the ball out in often career record times against that "scheme". I don't care who you are, not even the GOAT can get there in under 2 seconds consistently unless they are unblocked.
But that is exactly what the Prince of Prevent wants his defense to do. Play scared, allow the completion, keep everything in front of you and don't give up the big play.
While that "strategy" does work to an extent, negating the pass rush is a by product and direct result of it.
I also am glad to to hear AD's fire is burning hot.
The question is: How long with that fire burn "hot" if that so called "scheme" is keeping his stats down again and affecting his legacy?
If Morris doesn't "Grow some Friggin B@lls" as McVay says, "Mister Softee" might get fired and have to go back to driving the Ice Cream truck full time!
