Coop came out of Alabama and he was a student of the game, on spring break he would stay on campus and run pass patterns, when he first arrived in Oakland he was nails, then he went through a period where he dropped some easy passes and he could not get it out of his head. Jefferson's father is a coach, Van is a disciplined player and he is extremely disciplined route runner but when he dropped some easy ones it stayed in his head. Van needs a WR whisperer to get him to relax
