That is a puzzling article. The Rams never had a top QB throughout most of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. If they had had one in the 70s, they might have won multiple Super Bowls. If they had had one in the 80s, they might have at least made it to a Super Bowl. The 90s were hopeless until Faulk, Warner, Vermeil, etc. came along.
