I know it's easy to read into a signing like this, but between a trade, a draft choice and a free agent we now have 5 TE's on the roster.
I'm getting the feeling McVay isn't seeing what he wants from that group. And I'll take another guess and say he wants better blocking to support his young OL. If that's the case, I have to think Hopkins is on thin ice.
