Here’s Oldnotdead…
Brian Allen may not start but he's still on his rookie contract ...
I try to avoid the Oldnotdead posts, but I'm the kind of guy who looks into the Kleenex after I blow my nose and I have the same kind of curiosity when an Oldnotdead post surfaces.
But I had to stop reading after the first sentence because, as is so often the case, Oldnotdead doesn't know what he's talking about.
Allen was drafted in 2018 - his rookie deal expired after the 2021 season and he re-signed with the Rams as a UFA.
"Allen first joined the Rams as a fourth-round selection (111 overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft. After playing out the final year of his four-year, $3.1 million rookie contract, the Michigan State product tested the unrestricted free agent market in the 2022 offseason. However, he ultimately agreed to a three-year, $24 million deal to return to Los Angeles." [
