Rams43
Barring the occasional generational type talent (like a healthy Todd Gurley), there are 3 inescapable factors at work here.
1. Even good RB’s typically are used up after 4-5 years. Years of evidence shows us that.
2. Good RB’s are plentiful in almost every draft right up to 6th and 7th rounds. Pacheco was a 7th for the Chiefs, for example.
3. Salary cap practically forces GM’s to draft the hard-to-find players at other positions first and then take the easier RB’s later.
And I don’t see any of the above changing anytime soon.
I think in all fairness to the RB's, the NFL should come up with something that would make the eligible for a new contract after 2-3 years since their careers can be so short. JMO
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
