Also speaking as an ex RB, with shot knees, shoulders etc I think they get a reslly bad deal.
If you look at what a good RB brings to an offence or even an average RB..... the running game still has value to making high power passing offenses go. But they get used up within their first contract almost.
I've thought about franchise tag before and maybe it should just be a glat number, but I'm also sure Edge and WR wouldn't be happy with that either considering their current contracts.
TE are another beast that seem to get short changed.... how are some of the games best TE not being paid like the best WR.
