The whiners are pushing 30 yrs since there last chip. There are no guarantees that they will even get back to another NFCCG especially in this Era of 17 Game seasons with the Cap and Free Agency.
I'm not saying this just because Im a Rams Fan either. Yep they have a good Roster, but a QB position in the NFL is very critical & for them is very iffy at this point.
Back in the Day you may basically have the same Roster for a decade, & you pretty much knew which teams Win would and of contend yr in & yr out but now not so much, getting thru a 17 Game season is very difficult let along make the postseason.
I think it's been said half the Teams that made the Playoffs the yr before don't make it the next yr as there will be new Teams in the Postseason of course.
Also, how many times getting to the NFCCG & or the Playoffs and coming up short before they run out of gas from those extra-long seasons. Again not just wishful thing by a Rams Fan. As Always GO RAMS!
