Beating the 46 D by the Bears was not Rocket Science. Just simply throw to spots before the Rush gets there. Everyone knows Miami beat the Bears but look at the Bears season results in 85...TAMPA, of all teams, played them well. Lost both games but they moved the ball and scored a lot of points.....28 AT Soldier Field. I recall they had 350 yards passing in one game. It frustrated the hell out of me watching Brock drop back and THEN read the Bears D. Up the middle with TEs and 2-3 step drops and slinging down the sideline was the best way to beat the Bears.
