other than Donald. He's a defensive tackle, a rusher, a 4i/3tech....
Gaines was a pure nose tackle (0/1tech)---but Brown is not, he's more athletic
than a grinder. He could play DE (4i/5tech) if asked...he could have
been Robinson's replacement if Gaines had stayed
Marquise Copeland can also play DE and NT. As of know I'd think he's penciled
in as Robinson's replacement at DE but he could rotate at NT as well.
Earnest Brown IV seems like a DE than cannot play NT, but could perhaps
play DT in passing situations... If the young guys work out he may have hard
time getting a lot of snaps...I see him a Copeland's backup right now
Jonah Williams same as Brown, a DE in this scheme---inside shade of OT or
outside shade
Kobie Turner and Desjuan Johnson as interesting because they look like
they are the ones who could play DE and DT.
Turner, IMO, would spell Donald and could be the eventual replacement for him
but he's not going to get a lot of snaps there.
But he's not someone who only has to be a DT, he could play DE and take
snaps from guys like Williams and Brown.
Same with Desjuan Johnson only he could maybe play some NT as well.
Rams will keep 6-7 and 6 active on gameday--something like that.
If Johnson and Turner show anything Williams or Brown may lose
a roster spot
