Gentlemen, what do you expect to see or read this time of year? There was time we got nothing at all besides a little paragraph from The Sporting News, at this point seeing them make plays they should make and not getting hurt is a good thing and beats "Nothing At All." IMHO.
This is exactly the type of stuff I "expect" to see this time of year den. My issue is that there is just too much of the "meaningless" hype and BS articles that we see now.
Now if you would have asked me what would I "prefer" to see this time of year, my answer would be a little bit more realistic (or maybe truthful would be better word) reporting.
I am not asking for articles or tweets that disclose valuable inside info or anything like that, just a little less of "Player X is looking great in OA's and practice" stuff when it's actually not true. I don't need smoke blown up my butt to keep me excited for the season. At least not as much as is out there. But I do get why they do it.
I do see your point though and I remember those times of little information all too well and do appreciate what we have access to now.
FWIW, I think growing up around the Philly area, the "tell it like it is" whether they like it or not is ingrained in me from an early age. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing! lol
As always, you make good points den in very classy way!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
