Yea, I'm not getting good vibes hoping for marked improvement from Kendrick.
The thing is, a guy like David Long was drafted without any real red flags working against him. You didn't really hear about any area that he struggled in, and we were waiting for him to put it all together, like any young player entering the league. Even after his first and second season, he didn't have a glaring weakness that stood out, eventually though, he never put it together.
Now, Kendrick gets exposed as having a lack of NFL speed in his rookie year (4.87 SECS), not good. I'm not sure if he can improve his speed or not but it's not a good sign moving forward.
