by the name of Mike Furrey. We met his Mom and Dad at the railings during camp, they were very proud of the guy (of course). Nobody and I mean nobody thought he had a chance in hell to make any part of the team. Can't remember the cat, a steeler WR was picked up that off season and a shoe-in for a spot. Furrey went on and had himself a nice little pro career.
Point being made at this point in areas of need with this team, I don't think anyone should be ruled out. The better he shows out the better the competition as well. Not saying he'll make the team, but at the same time I gotta hope he does well, just doing that will possibly improve the others going at the position, and we need it...big time.
