I see what you guys are saying, certainly, and I think Avila was talking about the overall personal and football adjustments including football nomenclature, etc. Not saying the NFL isn't a big step from college - just that, for him, high school to a big-time college program seemed bigger.
It also appears to me, as Anquan Boldin said of himself when he came into the league, that he's a "grown-assed man" and can handle himself.
He sounds and looks that way to me.
