Goes without saying that there is no certainty in a drafted QB.... so the war room didn't bet the future on him but that doesn't mean they don't see him as somewhat likely to become a #1.
I agree to the extent that they at least thought he had potential to be a franchise QB, Jimmy.
I believe that this was intended to possibly get far more than an inexpensive backup QB for 4 years. We’ll see how this unfolds but I must say that Bennett intrigues me greatly.
After Purdy last year, and the Warner/Brady Cinderella stories, who can deny that QB’s are where you find them?
