He's obviously not Kupp. But he has similar size to Kupp, mini-TE size. He has similar instincts to Kupp, that ability to muscle for yards or edge guys who are more athletic than him. I think this guy is a depth piece for sitting behind Kupp, so that if he misses time they have another option with a similar (and yes quite diluted) game.
This kid does have a splash of Kupp in his game when you watch his film.
One of my favorite picks of our draft Merlin.
I really like the pick too. Kid seems like a nice fit.
