A 4.5 is technically faster than a 4.57, but, not really by much. A small head wing or tailwind could change those numbers. Heck, better running shoes could change it. They are both faster than Jerry Rice. Definitely fast enough.
And there is the 40 yard dash time and the live in game play speed time.

Adrenaline speed on an NFL football field during live action is a different animal for some players.
