As an example, suppose they converted $10M of Kupp's salary to a signing bonus. Then instead of that $10M counting $10M against this year's cap it would count $2M a year for the next 5 years. (Note: they would have to add a void year in 2027 to do this.)
It's $10M either way, just accounted differently.
So the Rams would get $8M in cap relief this year but would get an extra $2M cap hit in each of the next 4 years.
might be well worth it to shore up a glaring weakness at corner....we need a solid #2 corner , I just don't trust Kendrick at all
