There is a lot to like about Bennent but he is short for a QB
At the combine he tied with Levis for the most MPH per throw. That says arm strength
At the Combine Bennet showed great deep ball accuracy and was as impressive as any QB throwing
At Georgia he threw the ball all over and with accuracy, including deep balls.
The guy can make all the throws needed for this offense.
Bennet has the high level, high competition experience and has proven himself under pressure.
I won't argue that he has the most talent in the draft for clearly he doesn't but who is more ready to step in as the 2nd string QB in the draft? Young & Stroud I will give you but after them who is more ready right now?
On the CB side I agree. I thought that Edge & CB were the top needs and was surprised we didn't add more CB prospects.
