I'm never sure how accurate, (actual), that statement is regarding some of the plays in highlight video (NOT just Bennett).
You'll see a WR make a great move to the ball, coming off the 'intended' route, and the announcers will then pronounce the pass as "puts the ball where his receiver can make a play". Now of course that happens... the great ones can do that... but how can you 'know' that simply by watching. How can you 'know' the pass was "meant" for a spot where the WR could get to it in tight coverage or if the ball was just... well, not thrown all that well but it worked?
The biggest single play ever that represents that would be Warner to Bruce, (of course), which won them the SB... Did Warner when seeing tight coverage actually under throw on purpose to allow Bruce to beat the tight coverage? Maybe... like I said the great ones do do that. But can we 'know' it?
