There are several teams that could have used him that passed. His college career was unremarkable and there are whispers about his poor interviewing performances. You have one job - to increase your draft stock and you can't even get that right?
I think people get carried away with physical attributes and running around in shorts with oohs and ahhs. It doesn't translate into nfl success and didn't really set the college world on fire either. Richardson is another one - 'he can run over, away from or throw over anyone - well why didn't he accomplish much at Florida?
As for Hooker, he's got an injury history and will be 25. If he sits for 2 years he'll be 27 before his first season as a starter.
This team has a QB and needs so many other positions. Would hate to waste a high pick (for us) on a crapshoot who may become something in 3 years.
