Rams have far, far bigger personnel problems than starting RB right now. Like maybe 15 or so?
I just don't see anything "great" about Cam Akers. IMO, he is just an average back. Nothing special and as I said, can be replaced pretty easily.
We can agree to disagree on the "great" tag on Akers for now 43. Let's see how "great" Akers looks a few games into this season and revisit if needed.
As for RB not being an issue, who do we have besides Akers right now that we can count on to gain yards and also pass block alongside our less than stellar OL?
IMO, RB may not be the "biggest" issue we have but it sure is one that will need to be addressed before the season starts.

We’re both just spitballing here, anyway.
But I stand by my assertion that there are 10-15 bigger personnel problems that are concerning Snead/McVay right now than RB. I also guarantee you that a RB will be drafted but probably not until the 5th or later.
