Not being negative, but when was the last time we succeeded in a trade up or trade down scenario? I can honestly only remember the misses.
Seems like we miss more than we hit but I think that actually might be normal in the NFL. We all know the draft is a crap shoot. Nobody is a 100% lock to be a superstar so I guess having more picks increases the odds of getting "lucky" with one of them. lol
Having said that, it seems we trade down more than we do trade up. lol I hate trading down, but I get why teams do it. As 43 said, if you do it correctly it is the right thing to do. However, I am not too sure we can do it "correctly" based on past drafts of ours.
Well, I get that it seems correct "philosophy", but I'm just asking what's the criteria for "doing it correctly". I feel too often we trade a five dollar bill for three one dollar bills and congratulate ourselves for having more bills.
