If I had his track record of success I'd be the same way. Youngest coach in the league, 2 SB appearances, one win, multiple playoffs made. Only 1 losing season. That's a lot to be very proud of.
He believes in himself fully. He has a civil war cavalry officer's approach similar to Custer's. I mean that as a strong compliment. Custer was a excellent cavalry officer.
It's one thing to identify your weaknesses, it's more difficult to correct them.
My question is "When he gets into a fix can he reach into his bag of tricks?" and have a winning season this year? He's proven to me that he's an excellent HC, maybe he can do it.
