OK, in re-reading my post, idiot may be a little strong.

But he has mismanaged this and I am putting the blame on him.

Just because they are quick to acknowledge their mistakes still means they made mistakes and these were costly. And only selling away the future was able to mask these mistakes and now that we are here paying the price so early, I believe it is fair to point the finger instead of just saying "but we won a championship" so you're not allowed to point out the disfunction.
