I have said before, McVay took over a pretty solid team from Fisher and had the vault opened up to add to that for the first few years. McVay is great, but we were close just needed an offensive minded coach to get over the hump. And he was good enough to get us the championship. I am not knocking McVay except for his lack of loyalty.
But snead is a mess. I could be a GM if the sky is the limit and we can kick the can down the road..

The success did not need to end.
So many bad contracts. So much dead money. Paying guys early was supposed to be genius because the cap will go up, until you start fire selling most of those players and it doesn't seem so genius.
It has been mismanaged. Yes, so many teams would take our 5 year run, but it wasn't going all in with OBJ and Von Miller that killed us, it was restructuring everyone after the super bowl on top of all the prior mismanagement.
