Did not know that, but the kicker/punter combination during Knox's first tenure was marginal at best and cost the Rams in post season IMHO. Tom Dempsey was great for many reasons, but I believe if the Rams had another kicker in 75 & 76 those playoff games might have been different. Well, that and starting a rusty James Harris over a red hot Ron Jaworski in the 1975 Championship Game, but that's another story.
