Does McVay resign. Let's say they are 1-4 or 1-5, does he resign before the record gets totally distorted? Many have and I could see it, then they name Raheem Morris as interim coach and it's a lost season and they have a great pick and new Head Coach to start over in 2024. With Lincoln Riley being at the top of their list.

I can't see McVay walking away or "resigning" without at least finishing the season. I don't think it's in his DNA to be a quitter. Quit? No way. Retire? Maybe. lol

That would be a BIG hard pass for me on Morris being the HC even if only an "interim" HC. There is a reason, well maybe SEVERAL reasons, lol, that Morris hasn't had a "nibble" to be a HC again in the NFL in 12 LOOONG years. That's 12 YEARS! I guess they weren't as impressed with the Charmin Shell either. lol

Even crappy HC's get second chances sometimes. Sometimes even a third chance. Why hasn't Morris? I think we all know why.

Apparently not even one team has been impressed enough with Morris's work here in L.A. to make him a "legit" offer to be HC.

One thing I am pretty sure of is that if the Rams did make Morris the interim HC, it would 100% be a "lost season".

Any reason you want Riley, Den? What do think he could bring to the team that is needed?
