It really depends. You pointed out what we need to do and unfortunately I have read and watched you and other great fans lay it out beautifully and the Rams somehow get distracted or cute and do not draft the player or players that they could have and so we can become legit competitive in 2 years but I think 2025 would be the year we can be in SB contention assuming we are still solid at QB and if our OL should be really stable and DL stable. I like being competitive.
We do have some young talent and perhaps they are better upside than we can forecast due to lack of tape so there is that potential upside. We also may have some teasers, guys who have flashed but do not have what is needed to survive as starters. That is something to be measured and seen. I think if we cannot be in contention within 3 years we will be re-evaluating our GMs legacy for sure.
Two things give me confidence that Rams can be in the SB conversation by ‘24.
They’re gonna have a ton of picks in these two combined drafts. Like 20-25+ picks
including a 1st, finally.
The other thing is that I suspect that the Rams have a very few ‘sleeper’ gems on their roster that have been under coached and underdeveloped. I’m thinking Rochell and Hopkins for sure and I can probably point to AR last year, also. Hopefully, this new staff can correct that as McVay’s staffs used to do in his first 5 years. If I’m correct in this assumption, then it will almost be like Rams getting 3 additional high draft picks for free. What an effective roster boost that would be!
Until McSnead trades it away for a veteran QB or dominant Edge.

I'm ok with that because it would mean the Rams are having a remarkable season and Mcsnead thinks we are close with that addition.
