Sports is full of surprises with Kurt Warner just one of the examples where things just came together in a miraculous way. So you never know what is going to happen. look at Cooper Kupp a 3rd rounder who is now listed among the greatest WR in history. Who is to say things can go our way?
I think our offense could be dynamic without much help. On defense we have some young talent that will have to really step up and that may be to big an ask but stranger things have happened. We have a bunch of draft picks and a 2nd and 2 3rds so we have some ammo.
We have a great coach and a GM who has put playoff caliber rosters together. Our coaches will have to go back to teaching but that is a strength.
Anyway we can hope and even if we aren't winning it all this year I think there is still hope for a playoff spot and if we miss the playoffs there is hope that we will see the development of young players blossom to give us hope for the next season when we are loaded with draft picks.
After last season which was a huge let down it is good to have hope again. Even if next season doesn't turn out great we can still look for those who are developing and can be winners in the future. This organization is strong and in 2024 we got lots of picks and cap space. We still have some great players in Stafford, Kupp and Donald plus lots young developing talent. I have hope and a positive attitude and if 2023 doesn't turn out great at least I will be able to enjoy the draft more with a high pick in rounds 1 & 2 for a change.
This isn't like the dark ages after the GSOT melted down due to the utterly incompetent ownership and management of the team. We will be back and it will be fun getting their. We just have to change our perspectives a bit and probably our expectations.
