I think what is important isn't deluding ourselves that our team is going to play well, but rather to not be the guy crapping his pants in the foxhole. I see people in the media throwing in the towel before the offseason has even begun for us and frankly it is disgusting. It is
cowardice as it pertains to fans.
Also it is ridiculous when you have one of the best coaches in this league. When you still have a QB who might be able to put together a healthy season for us this year. When you still have AD and Kupp on this roster.
This roster is not destitute. It is, rather, in need of help in the secondary and to have some holes plugged throughout. And you don't need to have a perfect roster to be a playoff team. Even if there are still holes here and there you can still win some games and sneak into the playoffs by virtue of the good things we have going on at HC and with our remaining stars.
