And the plan was to have Stafford for the rest of this contract which does not look so bad then. His injury is what makes that contract look a lot worse now.

Still: I am absolutely fine with the Rams decisions although it practically means both Donald and Stafford are untradeable and have their best value if they finish their respective contracts.
