Zach Charbonnet, UCLA Some team is going to be very happy they drafted him. He had a great day. He has a round 1 grade from me. Day 2 for me, middle of 2nd to early 3rd, due to the RB position being devalued.
I still think he's a monster of a player. I'd be surprised if the lasts into the earliest parts of the 3rd round. He's a safe bet.
Travis Dye, USC I know he's injured so he gets a pass.
He was prepped to run at the USC pro day, but the field was a bog with the heavy rain. I think this guy could be had late as a sleeper. With the injury, and what amounts to not sensational combine numbers he'd be a super 6th or later. pick or high priority UDFA. He's a baller.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama 4.36 of course. Great hands. Great feet. Someone will be happy. I think he is a 1st rounder, he can create explosives in the run game and pass game.
Don't see him in the horns but the Rams have surprised with guys like Tutu earlier than anticpated. Gibbs would be a selection that would ignore higher need issues.
Evan Hull, Northwestern In the postseason process he's shown me a ton. He's a 3 down back and can use power, agility, or speed to get a wat, and he had 500 yards receiving last year. And he's smoother than I thought. Likely will end up as a fourth rounder for me that'll slide.
Just might be a slide down the board.hmmmmm
Roschon Johnson, Texas Had a great day. Is a great teammate and worker. He would be my preferred 5th rounder, but he'll likely be gone in the 3rd. Showed great hands and light choppy feet today at 6-1 219. Yeah, he's a 3rd round back. Everything the Rams could use. Really like his skill set Isn't this a guy folks would love later in the draft?
Hunter Luepke, North Dakota State No workout I am gonna have to watch youtubes of him. recovering from a shoulder injury, was out of the playoffs as well. He's a day 3 guy, maybe 6th round, he could be a H-back, TE, FB or RB, but not elite at any one thing. I'd love him on the Rams. Anything to get Skow out of the FB spot... Continues to come up in conversations. Doesn't feel like the Rams would use a pick on, but fits with 9ers.......
Kenny McIntosh, Georgia What I love about his workout is that it was below average and I'm glad because he may slide. He's only 204 but carries the weight like it's all muscle. His routes were smooth as were his feet. Again, I don't want to draft this position until the 5th round. He looks like a 4th rounder to me...He is strong for his size. One of favorites from this group. To my eye he looks light, so 204 kind of makes sense. Not contact with the club as far as I know so I'd stunned if we were to hear his name called.
Kendre Miller, TCU No workout ... is his knee still an issue from the Championship game? He's a big target. 650 squats for the win. Heres your 5th round RB, unless he is really injured. I haven't seen anything on him. I Agree with Deadpool. Barring the medicals, he's a serious target.
Tyjae Spears, Tulane What a postseason he's had (clapping for him because he's a great person). Could go top 50 now honestly, even without the 40, because he put up crazy vert and broad jumps. Favorite RB from the combine (outside robinson and Gibbs) I think he a late 2nd to early 3rd, plays stronger than his size suggests. Honestly, this one just knocked my socks off. And he just succeeds where he shouldn't. That's hard work, and a hard head. He's too small, but you go tackle him......if you can. Just don't want him the NFC West.
Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State Underestimate him at your own risk. He didn't run the 40 and his burst numbers were decent, considering he is legit 5-5. If anyone can play in the league at that size, it's him. day 3 specialist that will need to flourish on 3rd downs
