Yeah...I think this part goes more to what Rampage was talking about. Apparently, when Carter returned to the crash scene that night, officers determined that there wasn't probable cause to arrest him from being under the influence. Now, did the fact that Carter was a big-time football player influence their "determination" at all? Your guess is as good as mine in that respect.
