Someone is dead.
Alcohol was involved at double the legal limit.
He lied to the police.
He was driving ... not just in racing style, but in opposite lanes of traffic and weaving through other motorists at 230 am.
Besides the misdemeanor charge, his actions led to someone's death, and had he been taken in and tested, odds are we can bet he was likely also driving drunk.
That's not just a misdemeanor to most states. In fact I think thereare some that would have charged him with vehicular manslaughter for "racing leading to a death". And it isn't just a misdemeanor to most NFL clubs.
I doubt he drops out of the first round, but he may end up in the 20s.
