Don’t do it. Elite CB’s are few and far between and Ramsey is still only 28 years old. I do think that he’s not being used in a way to maximize his skills and value to this team due to deficiencies elsewhere on this D. But that’s been discussed in other threads.
There is one, and only one exception to my statement above.
IF some team offers Rams a stupid good offer that literally blows them away then I could see them taking advantage. But it would have to be an amazingly good offer that was a no brainer. Like two 1sts, one being rather high? Or a top 15 1st plus a stud starter at a Ram position of need? Something like that?
Anything less and I prefer to keep the still young and healthy top 3 CB and build around him.
As an aside, I’m hoping that Lake/Pleasant will be given a good CB and developmental S in this draft so that they can ‘help’ Morris modify his ultra soft zone D this year.
